Happy New Years! A Year In Review

***Whoops! I guess I forgot to post this one...***

Happy New Year everybody! It is so crazy to me that 2013 is over, it went by so fast!! The last year has been so much fun. Chad and I have both learned a lot and grown closer together.

This year as a family we:
  • We tried to grow a garden
  • Took a trip to St. George
  • Went to Moab
  • We spent many summer days at 7 Peaks Water Park
  • Traveled to California
  • Said goodbye to Andy, who left on his mission to Orlando Florida.
  • Visited family in New York and Indiana
  • We learned how to make bagels
  • We watched all 8 seasons of Psych, 3 seasons of Sherlock, and 4 seasons of White Collar (not a bullet we are necessarily proud of...)
  • Had our 1 year anniversary.

Chad:
  • Took the LSAT and rocked it!!!!
  • Got a new job at the Guardian Ad. Litem Office (attorneys who represent abused and neglected children)
  • Chad recovered from Mono
  • Chad was called to be the 12-year old Sunday School teacher -- and they love him!
  • Researched law schools, narrowed down list of 203 schools, to 47 schools, to 10 schools.
  • Applied for law school.
  • Chad went tubing for the first time since his face broke and nobody got hurt

Alli:
  • Switched majors and changed career goals
  • Said goodbye to her girl friends leaving on missions (Emily, Kristen, Marissa).
  • I switched from working nights to days (I was so glad not to be a vampire anymore)
  • I was called to be a Primary worker and have been trying to tame the 12 five-year-olds in my class.
  • I got a new job on campus (big blessing in my life, thanks Kaylie!)
  • I turned 21 and can legally do all those things that I don't have any desire to do.
  • I got a 4.0!!!!!!
  • I got my wisdom teeth out and didn't turn into a chipmunk...
  • I learned how to play: Settlers of Catan, Skipbo, Phase 10, Anomia, etc...

We are both excited for the new year and the adventures that will come from it. We expect to have made a decision about where we will be going for Law School around the beginning of March.
